Santika: the seaside resort
Only a 40 minute drive from the airport you will find one of the few 4* resort hotels in Manado, the Santika Seaside Resort. Here western standards blend fluently with the local atmosphere.
Room Facilities
This luxury resort is built on seven acres of lush greenery. The Deluxe rooms are located in two wings, three stories high. The 34 deluxe rooms include shower, western toilet, air conditioning, TV, mini-fridge, water cooker, hairdryer, telephone and a terrace or balcony overlooking the lush tropical garden with its nice swimming pool. The 38 Premiere rooms have the same facilities as the Deluxe rooms , but have a bathtub as well, and overlook the sea and the islands of Bunaken National Park.
In the lush tropical garden you’ll find 28 bungalows scattered in pairs; most of them having a great view of the sea. The facilities are the same as in the Premiere rooms, but the bungalows are more spacious and have a separate seating area, terrace and gazebo.
Drinks and dinner
Freshly squeezed fruit juices, exotic cocktails, or just a cup of tea ... the cozy bars, Pari and Lumba Lumba have everything for you to feel at ease. And after a drink, you can have dinner in one of the two excellent restaurants offering Western and Indonesian cuisines.
The Big Tree Restaurant has tasty, more western oriented, food, good wine (although expensive) and a beautiful view on the sea and islands of Bunaken National Park. The Maleo Restaurant treats you regularly to live music while you enjoy Indonesian cuisine.
Do you want to surprise your partner or celebrate something special? Ask for a private barbecue! The resort sets up a special BBQ only for you, in front of your own bungalow or one of the most beautiful spots of the resort!
Other facilities
In this paradise, the pool is not the only possibility for recreation. The resort has a volleyball court, has two pool tables and a playground for children. And don’t forget all the features of Thalassa Dive Center!
Do you need more relaxation? Go to the Amaryllis Spa where specialists provide traditional massages and various body treatments.
The resort has no beach, but a long jetty and breakwater; an ideal place to enjoy the sun, whether it's high in the sky or just setting behind Manado Tua. For beach lovers who need to feel the sand between their toes, Thalassa organizes transfers to the islands of Bunaken and Siladen.
