Official 5* PADI IDC
A 5* PADI Dive Center in Manado, north Sulawesi Thalassa was founded in 1986 and has been run since by Simone Gerritsen, a Dutch PADI Course Director. With this PADI status Thalassa is an official 5* PADI IDC Center, where the best instructors are available to conduct most PADI programs from snorkeler all the way up to PADI instructor.
In the heart of Bunaken National Park
Thalassa Dive Center is situated 15 kilometers north of Manado, the main capital of North Sulawesi. Its location, among the lush gardens of Seaside Resort Santika and bordered by a stunning mangrove forest along the coast, makes it a most unique location, right in the heart of Bunaken National Park. This famous marine park is one of the most diverse underwater areas in the world; an underwater treasure without limits, and one we look forward to showing you.

Because of this we are really proud of our slogan, ”Come as a guest, leave as a friend!” Whether you would like to dive around Bunaken, Siladen or Manado Tua, the Lembeh Strait or would like to make a trip to the Bangka Archipelago, our team of friendly, skilled and, always helpful boat and dive staff are ready to take you. You only have to give us your dive gear and we will do the rest! Our well-maintained rental equipment and made-to-measure boats take care of all your comfort and safety.
