We will do almost anything to make your holiday in North Sulawesi one of a lifetime. That is why, among other things, we offer flexible scheduling. This means that you can dive when you want and how often you want. Our boats leave the harbor up to 5 times per day at fixed times to the absolute top locations in the area. You only have to let us know what you would like to do the next day.
Specialized and multi-lingual
Do you have special dive and/or snorkel wishes? Are you a beginner, a photographer or interested in one specific underwater species? Please let us know. We have specialized staff to help you with almost anything.
Our professional PADI instructors are qualified to conduct most PADI programs and our multi-lingual staff can give you a briefing and can communicate in English, Dutch, German, French, Indonesian and Japanese.
High quality service on every dive
Dive Center Thalassa offers a, ”care-and-carry” service. Every dive day, your equipment is carried to the boat, set up and checked, tanks will be changed between dives and after the last dive, your equipment will be rinsed and stored away until your next dive. Our 24-hour security makes sure that your precious equipment is safe and well protected.
You also don’t have to worry about bringing water or towels. We will give you your own, personal water bottle holder. To help us protect the environment by diminishing the number of plastic bottles, you can refill your own bottle at one of the big water gallons at the dive center or on the boats. We try to think of everything, you only have to come down to dive. We do assume that that is something you would like to do yourself ;>)
At the end of your holiday, we will give you your own, personal log sheet to bring home. It helps you to fill out your logbook, but also reminds you of the wonderful time you had with us.

Diving with Nitrox
At Thalassa we also offer you the opportunity to dive with Nitrox, if you are qualified to do so, of course. If you are not, it will be possible to get yourself certified in just one day of your holiday. Diving with Nitrox means that you can stay down longer at shallower depths or that you’ll end your normal dive with less nitrogen in your body. However, we do hold the right to not allow diving with Nitrox if the environmental circumstances or that particular dive site can increase the risks associated with NITROX diving.
Thalassa holds safety in the highest priority and the steep walls in combination with downward currents can, at times, cause too much of a hazard.
